Well, if you have vista you probably find that you can’t install Channel 4’s on demand internet TV service. Why? No reason, just sloppy programming. However, there is a simple fix; can’t remember where I found it but ‘thanks’ to whoever it was.
Download a vista installable version here. I take NO RESPONSIBILITY if it kippers your system ok? However, I have been running it for months with no problems.
4 on demand is brilliant - loads of free stuff to watch streaming or download (They are showing the first episode of Spaced at the moment, sweet) plus films you can pay for between a quid and three.
Check it out!

Got Vista Yet? You have? Is it the Ultimate version?
check out StarDocks deskscapes:
http://dream.wincustomize.com/DeskScapes.aspx
It basically gives you a cool animated wallpaper which will eventually have triggers ie change with the weather etc and sound if you want it and other cool stuff. It is the same as microsofts dreamscenes (as it was they who had done it).
I have just installed it, and some of the desktops are rather weighty (30 meg) but some are really cool. Others however are really LAME. Ah well. I stick to the microsoft ones mostly but as people develop for it they will get better
